I have had the privilege to live in Victoria for 22 years, prior to that Coquitlam was my home. I followed my husband here after completing my undergrad degree at SFU in Math and Biology, and received my teacher training at UVIC. I have been so fortunate to have had many encouraging mentors in my teaching career that have supported my journey in the profession and also as a mother to 3 fantastic teenagers.
When I am not teaching Science and Biology, I am supporting my children in a variety of activities, enjoying daily exercise, walking my German Shepherd with my husband, Trevor, and being a little too preoccupied with cooking and eating delicious food.
